BCreative Studio has been a lifelong dream of mine. Established in the thresholds of Sin City, Nevada, circa 2011, I have since relocated back to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Born in Long Beach, California, I spent my childhood and the beginnings of my adolescence in Orange County, just 20 minutes from the beach. Growing up the oldest of 3, as the proverbial "Cop's Daughter," my world changed overnight when my father retired from the LAPD in 1994, relocating us to his hometown of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Just weeks before starting High School, I was forced from the West Coast into the dry, desert-scapes of the South West.

It was only a short time until I picked up my first camera. During my freshman year, I took a class called Intro to B&W Photography, which would prove to be my saving grace. In a sea of new faces and social norms, I found sanctuary in the darkness of the developing room. The darkroom that year forever changed me, saving me from the melancholy of my new reality, being labeled "New Girl." My High School experience was nothing like the norm. I struggled to find my place and my people in the halls of "The Cave." I did, however, find my eye...and ever since then, I've never ceased to continue to develop it!

When I got to college, my passion pulled me back into the darkroom at UNM. I took a Photojournalism class that year and continued developing rolls of Kodak film, praying I got just one decent image. Don't get me started on the hundreds of hours spent slaving over trays of chemicals and enlargers! Soon after that, the first DSLR Digital Camera was released. I found myself in an Independent Study Photography Course and never looked back. 

After graduating from UNM, I joined a top local Talent Agency. Between going on my auditions and working in the local Independent Film scene, I fell head over heels for working with all the new models building their portfolios. That was the era in which I truly fell in love with Photographing people!

Now, over twenty years later, I am blessed to be a mom to two epic little girls who continue to teach me the value of living passionately! I am reminded daily of the importance of staying present and focused on creating with purpose and intention. It is a gift to be able to see the light that exists within us all. This is why I do what I do and love it so much!
